How You Can Support the Centre

The Centre for Molecular Biology and Medicine focuses its basic and applied research on finding practical medical solutions to improve the quality of life of the aged and to assist the fight against cancer. The Centre relies predominantly on private funding for its operating income. Without the valued and enthusiastic support of individuals, trusts, unions and corporate bodies, the dedicated scientists at the Centre could not continue their critical work aimed at improving the lives of every individual in our community.

Use of Donated Funds
Donated funds are directed towards our research programs such as supporting the purchase of laboratory supplies and equipment, training of staff, etc. Donations are not directed to administrative costs nor used for fundraising activities.

Tax Deductibility
The Centre for Molecular Biology and Medicine is a not-for profit institution. All donations to the Centre in excess of $2 are tax deductible.

How to Support
We greatly value and appreciate all contributions, whether small or large, from our supporters as well as the relationships that we build with the community.

Trust or Named Funds
Trustees of existing Trusts as well as individual donors may wish to provide named support of our important work as an appropriate way to benefit the community (eg. John Citizen Trust Fellowship).
